This review was posted on Goodreads in August of 2019. I fell in love with the series and am now on the third book, Cress. These were my thoughts. This first two books in this series, Cinder and Scarlet, make an appearance on our Recommended Reading list.

Still a fun ride!

I don’t know if I can properly review Cress without giving spoilers, but I’ll do my best. After finishing the series, it’s all combined into one epic story in my head. So, I’ll just say that, like the first two, I absolutely adored this book. The characters are so lovable, the writing is fun and easy to read, and the world just keeps expanding.

The main character of the third book in The Lunar Chronicles is Cress. She’s fiery, smart, resourceful, and a lot tougher than anyone might think. Plus, she’s as short as I am! This series has some predictable moments, but that doesn’t detract from how fully enjoyable it is. Definitely recommended!
